Today in Maths, Room 10 and I had to solve problems that our teacher had given us.  Here are the problems and the answers.

how to make a cup of Milo

WALT:Write a procedure on how to make a cup milo.

Goal: To make Milo

Materials

1.Milk                                                                     

2.Hot water                                                                       

3.Tea spoon

4.cup

5.sugar

Milo

7.Hot water jug

Steps:

1. Get a clean cup.
2. Get the milk.
3. Boil the hot water.
4. Get the Milo.
5. Pour the milk in the cup.
6. Get the sugar.
7. Pour the hot water in the cup.
8. Put the Milo in the cup.
9. Stir the Milo for at least 1 minent.
10. Put 2 teaspoons of sugar.
11. Mix it again so the sugar will mix around so the flavour will be mixed.

    

                                    

           Then you have a yummy Milo

Room 10 went to room 8 and learnt solid, liquid and Gas after that we learnt the water cycle after that we melted chocolate and made shapes out of chocolate

One shiny day  there was a DAD,A Mum,a big brother,  A little  brother and a baby. The dad and the kids went for a bush walk while mum cleans the house. Suddenly it started to storm and  the mum  was worried about the dad and the kids then the mum took a shower.

Then the lighting hitted a tree and the big tree fell down on the house, the house was made out of wood then the house was on fire and mum didn’t even know the house was on fire then dad looked back and he saw smoke.

Then  Dad ran as fast as he can, and the kids too, mum was finished taking her shower and getting dress and she could hear the smoke alarm. She open her door and she saw fire, than smoke came in and she couldn't breathe then the Dad made it to the house and he could see the house on fire.

Then Dad said to the kids “here take my phone and call the the firefighters I’m going to get mum”the Dad bash through the window the chair was black and it almost turn into bits  everything was on fire, then Dad call out where are you, mum was lying on the floor then the hero Dad smash through the door and pick up mum but when he turn around and he could see fire it was around him.

A tree fell down and smash through the roof and the tree made a way out but there was more fire then the firefighters made it to the house and got the hose and started to take out the fire.

After the fire they  moved into a haunted house Dan Dan Dan to be continued.

military style fitness

Today Rm10 and Rm9 went for a military style fitness.

We got into a circle ,the year 6s went in the middle one by one an showed us a exercise. After we acted like military soldiers  and we jogged, bunched up and sang our chanting.

At the end it was a tie between R8 and the boys from Rm10.

Room 10 Netball lesson

Room 10 Netball lesson

Today we had kiwi sports. it was my first try in kiwi sports and the first thing we did was a warm-up called ship shark shore.

There were three lines. there was one on the right, one in the middle and one on the left. right after that we had to get a partner. my partner was Saia and we had to do chest passes. then we did bounce passes. then next we did overhead passes. next was shoulder passes. then we had a  real Challenge- we had to do all of those 4 passes without the ball touching the ground. it was easy but then I threw the ball too high and it touched the ground so we had to sit down. then the teacher gave me and Saia another chance and i think we were winning. the teacher gave us the power to win! ha ha ha.

Then we had to get into groups. they had 4 in each group and our group was winning, really winning! i had fun.

This morning we did compass directions for our fitness. They were North, South, West, East, northwest and all kinds of directions.

We couldn't go outside because it was raining and wet so we did fitness inside and I enjoyed it with Mrs Raj.

geometrical shapes

Today for fitness, we were making geometrical shapes with our bodies like a Triangle, Square and an oval. After that we made a trapezium. Later we did 10 star jumps,  10 push ups and touched our toes and jump up 10 times at the end we had to tell Mrs Raj 3 facts about The shapes we did.

Next we went to find shapes on the netball court. After that we had to count how many rectangle that were on the bench. Lastly  we had to run two laps  around the court. Finally we had to walk back to class. It was so much fun with Mrs Raj

Today in the morning we had kiwi can our activities we had to match our body parts with another body it was groovy i had to be with Mahoney buddy then it was over then we had to play bus stop it goes like this you have to write down boys names, girls names,colour,food,animal, place.

For this one i had to be Iki buddy he didn’t want to play because we were losing but i was having fun that’s the main thing about  the game so we lost then i didn’t play that was over but is was still fun then we packed up but before that  Maya made a speech because it was the last day of kiwi can of the term.
